The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently going to the Fernie two Local community Hall in Mpuluzi to render solutions to your community.
SASSA will be rendering expert services for instance new social grant applications, change of payment method, consumer treatment enquiries, along with the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.
In a press release, the agency reported it's alarmed with regard to the higher variety of people counting on social grants for survival.
“The goal in the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to a significant quantity of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.
“This is certainly because of the lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there is no absolutely functional office devoted to service the area every day. The support place established for intervention ordeals a high influx SRD of possible beneficiaries, which makes it tough for your office to attend to all people who visit a service point.
“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise much more sources to enable the servicing of all customers and improve access to Social Assistance solutions,” the agency said.
